TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

The following terms & conditions apply to bookings made on this website. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
When you make a booking, your contract is with the hotel. The hotels details will appear on the booking confirmation you receive.
Bookings
All offers of accommodation and other services featured on the website are subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse any booking.
Prices
The prices displayed on the website are a total for your requested stay. The room type and any meals, service or VAT (at the current rate) included are as specified. A minimum length of stay, deposit, cancellation and other conditions may apply to certain rates, as specified.
Payment
You will need to provide credit or debit card details at the time of booking to secure your booking. Where a deposit or full payment is required in advance, by booking you are authorising the debiting of the card provided.
We accept the following methods of payment: - credit cards: Amex, MasterCard, and Visa
Debit Cards: Visa/Delta, Solo, Electron, Maestro, Switch.
Prior to departure from the hotel you must settle any outstanding room and other incidental charges relating to your stay.
Cancellation/Non-Arrival Charges
If for any reason you find it necessary to cancel your booking then please cancel your reservation by contacting reception on 01656 782085. Cancellation or amendments must be made 48 hours prior the day of arrival.
Cancellation and non-arrival charges apply where cancellations are not permitted or that less than the required period of notice is given to release the bookings. Please refer to the specified cancellation rules at the time the reservation was made.
Fairways Hotel reserves the right to charge for one night’s accommodation per room booked if the above cancellation requirements are not met.
Changes of Booking Details
Reservations may be amended in line with the booking conditions accepted at the time of original reservation/s. Changes may be made subject to those conditions and any deposit/prepayment held is subject to those booking terms at the time of the original reservation.
Arrival and Departure
Your room will usually be available from 15.00 hrs on the specified date of arrival. On departure day we ask that you vacate your room by 11.oo hrs (unless a later departure time is stated as part of your booking), otherwise you may be subject to an additional charge of up to one additional night’s stay.

Hotel Events
Please be aware that at certain times throughout the year our hotel may host weddings, events and parties, which you may feel, would be an intrusion on your break. Please contact us on 01656 782085 for further information.
Insurance
We advise you to take out insurance to cover the cost of cancellation and other risks including loss or damage to personal belongings or personal accident.
The hotel’s liability for guest’s belongings is generally limited under the Hotel Proprietors Act.
Our hotel maintains appropriate insurance cover where the hotel is at fault for any injury or loss or damage suffered by our guests.
Parking
Where the hotel has its own car park, there may be limited spaces available.
If you have a problem
In the unlikely event you have a problem during your stay you must bring it to the attention of the hotel management at the time during your stay, to ensure that we have an opportunity to rectify the problem. If you are not satisfied that the issue has been resolved, please submit details in writing as soon as possible to James Godbeer, Fairways Hotel, West Drive, Porthcawl. CF36 3LS.
